Ellen Hart is the award-winning author of 26 crime novels in the Sophie Greenway series and the Jane Lawless series.  She has received the GCLS Trailblazer lifetime achievement in the field of the lesbian literature, among numerous other awards for her literature  Currently, she teaches writing at The Loft Literary Center in addition to writing novels.

In this interview, Ellen Hart discusses her latest book, The Lost Woman of Lost Lake. She unearths the real-life origins of many of her characters, as well as how she first became immersed in the genre of mystery and how she deals with her inner critic.  Ellen also discusses how she discovered her sexuality and how she found her partner in the process.
