Fay Jacobs is the Publisher and Managing Editor of A&M Books. Fay has contributed stories and columns to The Washington Post, The Advocate, and Curve Magazine and has won a countless awards for her books and humor columns. She’s recently released a new book, For Frying Out Loud, which is available for Nook and Kindle readers.

Stephani and Fay are both writers who have each just authored new books. Stephani is the author of the award-winning book The Carousel, and Fay is the publishing and managing editor of A and M Books as well as the author of her third memoir For Frying Out Loud.
In this interview, Stephani and Fay discuss their new books, and include little known facts about A and M Books, including the story of the publishing house’s lesbian creators. The two also discuss the history of Rehoboth Beach, and how the beach has been a gay person’s destination since the 1920s, but still maintains its ranking as a number one family beach. Fay also speaks about her experience meeting a man she knew as a women forty years ago in high school, and the two discuss different writing techniques used by all kinds of authors.
